Juror Fee Donation Program
As a juror in the Superior Court you have the unique opportunity to give back even more to your community through the Juror Fee Donation Program. You may designate all or a part of your juror compensation to go to one of five local organizations for improvements to the programs and services they offer. Local programs such as Parks and Recreation, Open Door Home, Humane Society, Senior Adult Center or the Rome-Floyd Library can be the recipients of donated jury fees. A form is available for you to complete in the jury assembly room if you wish to donate any of your compensation.
Free parking is provided to jurors in the Law Enforcement Parking Deck, located between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue . Please have your juror summons available to show to the parking attendant as you enter the deck. On- street parking or parking in any lot other than the Law Enforcement parking deck may result in a parking ticket that is not excused by jury service. If you have a valid handicapped parking permit, you can arrange for long term parking in one of the county lots by calling 291-5193. Without the special permit issued by calling the above number, you may be ticketed for overtime parking in a handicapped space.
Please report to the Jury Assembly Room, Room 308, on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse before 8:30 a.m. On the 3rd floor, Bailiffs will direct you to the jury assembly room where you will check in and receive preliminary instructions.
If you need accommodations due to a disability, please contact the jury clerk at 291-5193 (TTD relay 711) as soon as you receive your summons.
