The Rome-Floyd ECO Center is a natural resource education facility located on the banks of the Oostanaula River in Ridge Ferry Park in Rome, Georgia. Like our mission says, we strive to educate the community about our resources and the ecology of our area. We accomplish that goal by providing school programs, community speaker series, and a variety of events while utilizing our native garden, wetland demonstration area, and over 25 live animal exhibits that change nearly monthly. We are open to the public Monday - Thursday from 1-4 PM, and host school programs during our other hours of operation.
