The following document contains qualifying fees for the November General/Special Election (O.C.G.A. §§ 21-5-131(1)(1)). The City of Rome and Board of Education Qualifying Fees Schedule.

The election will be held on November 7, 2017, to fill the office of Ward 2 in the City of Rome. The following document contains the wards within the City of Rome. City Ward Map 2017. Candidates for the city commission are required to submit a notice of candidacy and pay the qualifying fees, established by a resolution of the City Commission on January 9, 2017.

Qualifying for these positions will begin Monday, August 21, 2017, 8:30 a.m. and continue until Friday, August 25, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Rome Clerk's Office at: 601 Broad Street, Rome, Georgia 30161. For more information, please call 706-236-4460.

City Commission – Ward 2 The three (3) candidates receiving the most votes will be elected. Each voter may vote for no more than three candidates.
