First opened in 1916, the Historic Rome City Auditorium is a 1,106 seat performing arts center that offers a full line of quality production equipment, a knowledgeable technical crew, a spacious green room with numerous dressing rooms as well as a staff dedicated to assisting you host a successful event.
This beautiful facility has recently undergone massive renovations. It now has a motorized control system used for hoisting equipment and scenery. Other upgrades include new LED lighting system, digital sound system, stage curtains and HVAC system. A newly constructed backstage two story addition to the facility includes house dressing rooms, green room, ADA accessible restrooms and shower.
Over the past 100 years this facility has proven to be a great venue for a variety of events. A number of famous acts have performed here over the years including Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Jerry Lee Lewis and George Jones just to name a few.
