Environmental Planning
Protecting the systems that provide the very foundation of our lives (clean air and water) is an important job that has historically been over-looked in many areas of our state. As regions grow and populations expand, many of the natural services that we rely upon are pushed beyond their limits and begin to break down. This breakdown can lead to an increase in the frequency and intensity of flooding, more expensive water treatment costs, foul odors along waterways, fish kills, and public health crises.
