Rome, Ga. – Floyd County Animal Control is excited to announce that the Spay/Neuter Coalition, Inc. and the Atlanta Humane Society are partnering together to hold two mobile low cost spay/neuter clinic in Floyd County.
The clinics will be held on Wednesday, June 22 and Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in the big red Surgical Utility Vehicle at Floyd County Animal Control, 431 Mathis Road, SE, Rome, GA 30161.
“We are excited to partner with the Spay/Neuter Coalition and the Atlanta Humane Society to offer this service to the community,” said Jason Broome, Floyd County Animal Control Director. “Please take advantage of this opportunity for low cost sterilization of your pets and help spread the word to friends and family.”
Appointment scheduling will be done using voicemail. Residents interested in this service for their cat or dog should cal 404.974.2885 with a detailed message for the date and location of the clinic you are calling about. Messages will be returned Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Payment is due at the time of scheduling and payments are final; no refunds will be given.
All prices include the spay/neuter procedure, a microchip with pre-paid registration and a complimentary rabies vaccination, if needed.

Dog Neuter (under 50 lbs) $55
Dog Neuter (over 50 lbs) $65
Dog Spay (under 50 lbs) $65
Dog Spay (over 50 lbs)  $85
